There are many opportunities to partner with qldwater or to have your brand recognised as a supporter of the Queensland urban water industry. SPONSORSHIP

1. Mini-conferences: - qldwater runs up to 4 small conferences per year; mostly in regional Queensland.  These are typically no longer than a day and are coordinated with local Institute of Public Works Engineering branch conferences, or other events.  Past days have attracted 50-100 key regional representatives of the water industry, with a combination of presentations and workshops.  Sponsorship helps keeps individual registration costs to a minimum and provides a significant promotional opportunity in each region.  Package prices range from $500 to $1500, and places are available for events in mid to late 2011 with more to be announced.
2. Water Connections tour: - Each year, qldwater conducts a tour of 6-10 remote regional water service providers.  The tour includes qldwater staff along with an expert in water and wastewater treatment, representatives from the State and Commonwealth government.  The 2011 tour, sponsored by Dial Before You Dig is notable for the inaugural “Best of the West Water Taste Test” – celebrating the skills and challenges of providing water services in remote areas of the State.  A variety of tour sponsorships are available in future years, including naming rights for the taste test.
3. qldwater Associates Program: - New in 2011, the Associates Program gives suppliers and other organisations associated with the Queensland Water industry to be recognised for making a contribution to industry resources.  Our members see your organisation as “giving something back” towards the production of standard manuals, training and other industry programs designed to improve efficiency and achieve value for money.
   
   The Associates Program currently has a flat $2,000 plus GST annual fee, entitling the subscriber to:
   
   • Access to the library of qldwater publications, normally only available to members,
   • Be recognised through branding as a qldwater Associate.
4. Publications: -
   
   • Annual subscription to qldwater publications and members-only web resources $1,000 plus GST
   • Individual publications as per price in the Bookshop. 
   Sponsorships are available for specific publications as they are developed, provided that there is no risk of a perception that the sponsorship creates a conflict of interest.
5. Training products: - As qldwater’s training programs evolve, sponsorships are available for the development of materials.  In particular, e-learning products are particularly expensive to develop.  If you have an interest in being recognised as a contributor to industry training materials (that may align to your products or services), please contact us.  Packages range from $1,000 to $10,000 plus GST.
