Register now to attend SWIM training workshops. Some of the workshops are now nearly full, while others have too few registrants and may have to be cancelled. An additional workshop has now been scheduled in Barcaldine thanks to strong council demand (and organisational effort – with thanks to Barcaldine Regional Council!) for a central Queensland workshop.
The Mount Isa Workshop has now been postponed to Thursday 21 July, because of the small number of registered councils. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending the new Mount Isa workshop.
Please email your registrations to pmorgan@qldwater.com.au, stating name(s), organisation and which training session you wish to attend. Registration is closing this Friday 1 July, 2011.
The scheduled dates and locations are as follows:
29 June Brisbane (registrations closed)
4 July Mount Isa (POSTPONED)
8 July Cairns (Nearly Full)
11 July Rockhampton (FULL)
14 July Toowoomba
19 July Brisbane – training session for small service providers.
21 July Mount Isa (NEW)
25 July Barcaldine (NEW)
If insufficient registrations are received for these sessions, they cannot be conducted, so please let us know as soon as possible. All qldwater members are welcome to attend any of the sessions but please note that the 19 July Brisbane session has been designed exclusively to meet the needs of small service providers.
This year, SWIM training will cover:
- SWIM data submission procedures
- SWIM Quality Control Tools (New)
- SWIM historic data submission (New)
- BoM data submission – additional procedures for BoM users only
Feel free to email any questions or comments to pmorgan@qldwater.com.au.
