Around the nation and most recently in SEQ the urban water industry is undergoing significant structural reform. LGAQ and qldwater are working together on a program to better understand and anticipate potential futures for the water industry outside SEQ. Workshops for local government providers were held in Mackay on 20 August which opened formal discussion among the industry about preferred futures for Queensland. The follow up workshop was held in Brisbane on 28 November 2008. |
