qldwater have held two workshops in February for  participating Councils to  provide specific detail on what, how and when data needs to be provided to the Bureau of Meteorology and the assistance available to councils to help deliver.

SLMP Workshop February 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Each Water Service Provider registered under the Water Act as providing water services is required to have a System Leakage Management Plan.  SLMP's were required for small WSP's by 1 October 2008. qldwater conducted a FREE workshop for Water Service Providers in the north of the state to assist small councils to finalise this requirement. There was a last minute change due to flooding and the workshop was successfully held in Cairns on 16 Feburary 2009.
