SWIM Water Data Reporting a Success PDF Print E-mail
Written by Heather Gold

Thank you to all those councils and water service providers that submitted their annual water data through SWIM this year – nearly 80% of Queensland’s WSPs have used SWIM to report their annual DERM and DIP data. This is a great level of participation by the water industry in this industry-led initiative to  simplify water data reporting. Your excellent support this year has given qldwater a greater mandate to continue to simplify water reporting - we hope to make further improvements and simplifications to the reporting requirements in the coming year and look forward to your support again next year.

Look out in January 2010 for news from us about the release the ‘Queensland WSPs Comparative Reports’ – these are comparisons of your own WSP/council with all others in the state, allowing you to assess your own performance and assist in setting your performance targets. Each report is customised to compare your council to ’others’ and is accessible only by your own council.

Please feel free to forward any comments or queries about the SWIM system to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it – we are always looking to make improvements to suit your needs.
