Water utilities and large water operators can contribute to improving safe water supply and sanitation in the Asia Pacific region by participating in an International Water Utility Partnerships Program.

This free lunchtime session covers how a utility can take part in the business to business exchanges offered by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the first hand experiences of Australian utilities that participated as partners.  The session is to be held on Tuesday 9 March 2010 as part of Ozwater'10.  The venue is the Hospitality Room 2, Foyer Level, Exhibition Hall, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Presented by the Asian Development Bank and AWA

These partnerships offer unique staff development opportunities, profile raising and achievement of corporate social responsibility goals. The utility contributes staff time and expertise and ADB supports international travel, accommodation, and related expenses.

See the program for further information. Numbers are limited and registration is essential, on-line at www.awa.asn.au/events/IWUP
