The H2Oz campaign is about creating greater awareness of and attracting people to the diverse breadth of opportunities in the Australian water industry. The AWA currently has 30 organisations involved which represent the breadth of entities: private consultancies, utilities and government as well as the national geographic coverage of the industry.
Great progress has been made so far with the collateral developed as well as the initial website being established: www.h2oz.org.au and receiving a lot of media and public attention and support. The website contains news and events, career pathways, course/education information, profiles, industry perspectives and a recruitment system that allows for positing of jobs as well as receiving general expressions of interest from applicants. The official launch of the H2Oz website coincides with National Water Week on the 19th October, 2010
