1. The Quest to Find Queensland’s Best

It’s that time of the year again where water service providers go head-to-head to claim bragging rights for having the best tasting tap water in Queensland.

Next Wednesday, as part of the qldwater Annual Forum, 11 samples from water schemes across the State will be sniffed, swirled, sipped and scored to help us crown the 2022 TracWater Best of the Best Queensland Water Taste Test winner.

Entries have poured in from Cairns, Cook, Ilfracombe, Isaac , Livingstone, Longreach, Mackay, North Burnett, Palm Island, Southern Downs and Woorabinda. Will Mackay be toppled from the top spot? Will Livingstone make a return? Only time will tell… until then, may the best water win!

2. Upcoming Fundamentals Webinar

qldwater is pleased to invite you to our next Fundamentals Webinar on Thursday 15th September, 10am-11am, AEST with the topic ‘Fundamentals of Trickle Filters’, presented by Terry Fagg, Western Downs Regional Council who recently reached 40 years of service in the industry.
